Position Title: Greenskeeper/Course Superintendent

Location: Morrill, Nebraska
Description:
The Village of Morrill, Nebraska (Population 934) is accepting applications for the position of full-time Greenskeeper with benefits and salary DOQ.
This individual will perform skilled work with the responsibility of maintaining all aspects of the course including but not limited to:
A. Manage time effectively, exercise good judgment when communicating with the public, demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, and work cooperatively with other staff and the Board to provide quality customer service.
B. Making sure the course is ready for play when the course is opened and aftercare.
C. Supervision of assigned personnel and direction of seasonal outside employees.
D. Mow greens, tee boxes, fairway, and other golf course surfaces as needed and trim trees and bushes as needed.
E. Maintain flower beds that are not sponsored.
F. Aerate tee boxes and greens on time and irrigate course as needed.
G. Responsible for tee and cup replacement.
H. Responsible for fertilization of the course. Spraying of herbicides, pesticides and any other chemicals as needed. Also responsible for purchasing chemicals, seed, and other course maintenance products.
I. Responsible for consistent maintenance and service of equipment throughout the year and making sure there is room to house all equipment appropriately.
J. Perform maintenance duties in and around all course buildings.
K. Maintain all signs on golf course.
L. Complete any other projects and other items at the request of the Board.
